Pray…

and not lose heart!

As we finish the first week of our “Unusual Prayer” I find myself wondering if you are still in the race!  I keep hearing the phrase that Dr. Luke used to introduce a parable of Jesus:  “…and not lose heart” and I must challenge you to continue this time of prayer! 

“And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart….”  (Luke 18)

I also think of Paul’s encouragement in  Col 4:2  when he said we are to “continue steadfastly” in prayer.

Read Eph 1 again and thank God for His love and make a list of the blessings you have  “IN CHRIST.”
