Dr called yesterday with pathology report – explaining they removed a very slow growing carcinoid (neuroendocrine) tumor.
Margins were clear, had not penetrated the bowel. They removed the surrounding
Lymph nodes and they are all clear.
No chemotherapy required, and will refer to oncologist, after the first of the year, to explain how things are monitored.
