Yesterday Eliana decided she had had enough sitting around, and got up and is now walking! She played last night for over 2 hours on the playground. We praise the Lord and believe it was in response to the prayers of his people. Cindy arrived soon afterward and was amazed to see Eliana walking briskly toward her, arms open wide. I remembered that the last time Cindy had seen Eliana she couldn’t even sit up on her own. We also saw an improvement today with her speech. She is doing great.
We cannot express our gratitude to all of you for your prayers and encouraging emails during this time. Even the doctor said he is amazed at how quickly she is recovering.

We will find out today, but I think the doctor will release her on Sat. as long as there are not any other complications. We will keep praying for full recovery so that Eli doesn’t have to stay on this medicine long term.
