Haiti: NC Baptist Disaster Relief

NC Baptists are working to assist in Haiti following the devastating earthquake there yesterday. We have several partners who are in Haiti and we are checking with them concerning the best ways for us to minister there both immediately and long term. Decisions are being made right now concerning the best ways for us to help in Haiti. Right now the airport is closed in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. We do have a team that is ready to go. The team is composed of 1 doctor, 1 paramedic, 2 EMT’s, 1 Water Purification person, and 3 helpers. We may try to fly this team in on a small plane.

There will be a need for many volunteers in the near future. If you are interested in going please contact our office with and give us your skills and your contact information. E-mail us at gmoss@ncbaptist.org or call 1-800-395-5102 ext. 5606.

We will need funds for disaster relief efforts in Haiti. If you would like to contribute please make your check payable to:

NC Baptist Men,. PO Box 1107, Cary, NC 27512 and designate your check for Haiti Disaster Relief.

Please continue to pray for the people in Haiti and pray that we will be led to minster in the place that God wants us to be.
