We continue to get calls from our church family asking to help…
It’s great to be a part of a church filled with people who “get it” !
First, all monies given to Calvary marked “Haiti” will be sent to our Baptist partners who will be providing relief. Their assessment teams are on the ground. We have great confidence in these relationships and know the money will be used in a way to meet needs and honor God.
Additionally, our staff continues to work with those coordinating relief efforts. We are working through many contacts to help you respond. We are coordinating ways to match your availability with strategic requests. We will use this site and our webpage to update how you can be involved.
If you want to have your name added to the volunteer list, send Steve Hardy an email by writing: shardy@Calvarynow.com
Finally, many of you know Abel Duliep, our missions intern who works with our Hispanic ministries. Abel’s father is from Haiti; Abel has spent a good bit of time in Haiti and presently has many relatives among the missing. Pray for Abel. He is a member of our family who is processing this tragedy in a very personal way.
