Day Two: Preparation through Confession

As we prepare our hearts to pray, we must face our sin.  True communion with God moves us to  Repentance and the Confession of Sin.

David, a man after God’s own heart, recorded his prayer of confession.  The words he used, and the depth of his cry, can be found in Psalms 51 and 32.  We must humble ourselves before God and let these words guide us.

Read Psalms 51 first.  Follow this time of searching your heart with the reading of Psalms 32.
