Today we are reading and remembering the Triumphal Entry of our Lord. Matthew 21:1-11
The reaction of the crowd reminds us — lost people do not understand the mission of God. Do we?
The crowd wanted to crown Him King — for the wrong reasons. Jesus understood He would first wear a crown of thorns. Do we understand that the call to follow Jesus is the call to take up our cross?
We are called to die with Him that we might live through Him.
“Lord Jesus, we worship You as King. Teach us this week as we remember Your road to the cross.”
