Leadership

I am especially grateful for how God is at work through the leaders He has placed in His Church. 

 Yesterday was staff day at Calvary:  Pastors’ Round Table; Monthly Staff Meeting; Staff luncheon;  Administrative Assistants Coordination/training; afternoon team meetings…ending with Dinner with the Pastor for guests and prospective members. 

The first thing on my calendar this morning is an early prayer meeting with 5 of our Calvary Leaders.  Meeting with these men strengthens my life and walk as they challenge me and pray with/for me. 

The South Asia (SA) Leadership Training will be completed at lunch today.  We are grateful for the IMB leaders who pour out their lives to reach the Peoples of SA.  It has been a great joy to watch them train dozens of church leaders who are prayerfully considering leading their churches to partner with these workers.  We are praying that God will use these leaders to facilitate a Gospel movement among the Unengaged, Unreached People Groups.

After lunch, I will spend the afternoon with the IMB team planning next week’s Leadership event  in  South Asia. As these leaders head back home (South Asia) Calvary teams are going with them—we will gather with 40-50 workers and their families for a time of retreat and training.

Then tonight, I have meetings scheduled with future leaders in our Calvary family to talk about our vision for God using their skills and gifts in even greater ways. 

So, the word for the day is: Leadership!
