Thank you Prayer Partners for joining us during this last month.
We have seen the Hand and provision of God. We know how desperately we need God’s presence and power at work in our lives. I am so glad He did not leave us to ourselves—but sent His Spirit to indwell us and live His Life in and through us!
Answers to Prayer
Oklahoma and… The SB Disaster Relief Team continues to serve Southern Baptists. Our staff continues to serve when the media moves on to other things. Disaster Relief teams are serving in at seven states as you read this update! Pray for those who are meeting needs and sharing Christ.
Chicagoland On the way to our meeting with Convention leaders– we spent the afternoon with a couple of pastors who are serving the inner city of Chicago. These men have given their lives in service and I am challenged by their walk and attitude. They are living out Philippians 2:17.
Loving Houston/Crossover Houston: I have been in Houston the last few days. Thousands have been on the streets serving and hundreds have come to know Christ. Pray for the churches as they follow up on what God has done.
Prayer Requests
SBC: KK is joining me for the Convention. We look forward to this time of encouraging pastors, church planters and other missionaries.
Family Time: After the convention we enter into a season of seeing kids and grandkids (they are coming to Atlanta) and at the end of the month we take a big Anniversary Trip—KK has put with me for a long time! I am grateful for frequent flyer miles and the opportunity to slip away!
