As we begin a new month, I want to thank you for your prayer support and encouragment.
In addition to my on-going work, I have been involved in two major projects. They have been challenging and laced with spiritual warfare. Over the next few weeks, both will come to a close as we present them to the SBC. Please join me in praying for:
1. Evangelism Tool
We are involved in the final details–preparing to launch a new evangelism tool that is part of Life On Mission (click here to preview the book). Life On Mission is a discipleship book — and the evangelism tool will be linked as a resource.
Pray for clarity. Throughout this process I have been praying Col 4:3-4. As we bring things to a close this month, I invite you to join me in praying through these verses.
2. Pastors Task Force on Evangelistic Impact and Declining Baptisms
In September 2013, we convened a Pastors Task Force (read about it here) to address a major problem in the SBC. We will release this report soon. Pray for us as we finalize the work and put the challenge before other pastors & leaders in the SBC.

At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, (on account of which I am in prison)—
that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
