Answered Prayer
Over the last few months, we asked you to pray for a couple of special ministry initiatives. I am thankful for God’s blessings on both.
1. The Pastors’ Task Force report is being used to challenge Southern Baptist leaders. If you didn’t see the report, you can find it here (www.namb.net/baptismtaskforce)
2. The new Evangelism tool was launched at the SBC. God is using this approach as people turn conversations about problems into conversations about Jesus. (www.namb.net/3circles)
So many details had to come together in a short amount of time—and your prayer support was evident.
Sunday, July 6th
This morning I am preaching in San Antonio, TX (Castle Hills FBC). A new pastor will arrive on the scene next Sunday. My message today is entitled:
“How to Pray for your New Pastor”
(Acts 20: 28; Heb. 13:17)
While preparing for this message, God reminded me of those who have encouraged me by on-going prayer support. I am so thankfulGod gave me the opportunity to walk this life with so many faithful prayer partners.
