So Far- So Good.
Our Oncology appointment went well. The pathology report had a negative reading on one of the indicators (HER2-nu). However, the Oncologist recommended an additional study that will help to rule in/out Chemotherapy. This test (Oncotype) will require at least two weeks and we must wait for the results to know what is next.
Prayer requests:
1/ Praise God for the good pathology report (round one).
2/ Pray for patience as KK waits 2 more weeks to learn about possible Chemotherapy.
3/ KK continues to have fluid retention where the lymph nodes were removed.. It is painful and has twice required a procedure to remove fluid. Pray for pain relief and that her body will begin to deal with this fluid.
