Jesus, everything pales in comparison to knowing You. (Phil. 3:8)

It’s hard to believe that You made a way for me to know You. I was far away but You brought me to Yourself through the cross.
There is no way to measure the eternal value of knowing You. Deep in my heart I know that compared to knowing You—nothing else matters.
I’ve spent too much of my life pursuing things that don’t matter. Forgive me for setting my affection on acquiring things that will not last.
Looking at You, I realize that the acceptance and approval of others will never satisfy. There is no earthly award or accomplishment that can satisfy this deep longing in my soul. The only thing that satisfies is knowing You.
Thank You for sending Your Spirit to dwell in me. You move my heart to cry:
“Abba, Father.”
Your Spirit convinces me of Your presence and opens my eyes to see Your value. My heart sings…..
Lord, You are more precious than silver.
Lord, You are more costly than gold.
Lord, You are more beautiful than diamonds,
And nothing I desire compares to You.
